This is the first dress I sold! Years ago I set up a booth with my clothing at a flea market in Fremont, California, and this was the only sale of the day. $40. But the woman who bought it loved it. And since then I have realized that is really the payoff for me. When people fall in love with my clothes and have to buy them. I have actually gotten thank you notes from people who have bought my dresses.
The fabric is from a thrift store we used to go the in Hayward, CA. They always had beautiful saris.
