I just finished the doll I have been working on for my friend, Marcie, due with a baby girl soon. I am really happy with the felt hair instead of yarn. The head is a little floppy, so I may attach the neck differently next time I make a doll.
I used Roses in Plum from the Far Far Away collection by Heather Ross. I really like the linen texture. I think it goes really well with the aged classic rag doll look.
I may have a hard time getting Sophia to give it up!
I think I will be making another again really soon. Sophia's Birthday is in April.
What an adorable little doll. Her hair does look great and I love the little scarf.
